Real fractional, advisory, and interim roles. Already scoped

We do the scoping call with the company before you ever hear about the role. When it lands in your inbox, you know the hours, the budget, and what success looks like.

  2. 02

    Great odds when you're matched

We introduce 5 or fewer operators to each role. If we match you, you've got a real shot at moving forward.

  3. 03

    It's free for you

Like a recruiter, we make money by charging companies. Joining is one of the more low-risk, high-reward choices you'll make.

  4. 04

    Contracts and payments handled

No invoice chasing. Contracts and payouts run through us, so you can spend your time on the work.

  5. 05

    People who get it

Building an independent career can be lonely. Come hang in our community of operators who are doing it too, swapping rates, leads, and what's actually working.

For solo operators who look for a variety of independent roles

    Fractional

Lighter-touch, periodic input from someone deeply experienced.

  • 04

    Interim full-time

A proven operator steps in full-time to cover a gap or lead through a transition, until your permanent hire lands.

Things to consider before applying

We accept a small number of new people each month. Our goal is not to build the largest network, but instead find people that are suited for our high-growth startup customers. Here's what we look for.

Apply now
  1. 01

You live in North American time zones.

We might expand beyond North America someday, but for now our companies expect hires to work in their time zone. If you're a strong fit and live elsewhere, we'd still encourage you to apply.

  2. 02

Independent work is a primary source of income for you.

Our customers need ongoing, committed work, so we look for a real commitment to independent work. Most of our network does this as their main income, and a select few take contracts alongside a full-time job.

  3. 03

You come from the tech world.

Most of us spent our early careers building VC-backed and high-growth businesses, though some come from exceptional nonprofits and service businesses.

  4. 04

You have demonstrated expertise in operations, growth and marketing, finance, HR, bizops, or AI enablement.

We only work on certain types of roles, so we won't have opportunities for you if you're not great in these areas. We're not a fit for engineering, product, or design folks.
